In a world increasingly defined by division, the global landscape has become more fragmented than ever. Borders, both physical and ideological, are hardening, while digital spaces simultaneously connect and isolate us. Yet, within this fragmentation lies an opportunity: to build bridges, to find common ground, and to create new pathways for collaboration.

Penang Slush'D's theme "Between Worlds," speaks to this moment, inviting us to navigate the cracks and build connections where others see separation. It's a call to embrace the complexity of our times and reimagine what's possible when we dare to step into the in-between.

Set within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town, Penang, this anti-conference invites dreamers, creators, and disruptors to explore the intersections of tradition and technology, local and global, and the tangible and digital.

EVENING GARDEN SOIREE

DAY 1 (6PM-10PM, 19 MAY)

Enter an enchanting realm of nostalgia and timelessness, where memories are awoken and friendships are kindled

CHINAHOUSE

ChinaHouse is a traditional compound of 3 heritage buildings, linked by an open air courtyard and converted into 14 spaces comprising shops, cafes, and a bar.

CHEAH KONGSI

Established in 1810, Cheah Kongsi is one of the oldest Hokkien clan associations in George Town, Penang. This stunning venue will host an unforgettable networking event to ignite conversations and create lasting impressions.

CULTURAL PERFORMANCES

Showcasing the diversity and dynamism of Malaysia through a 2-hour performance. Performers will include Joyous Orchestra and special light shows.

Century-old buildings come alive with a thousand minds sparking powerful dialogues across 4 unique stages

FOUNDER STAGE @ INFINITY8

The coworking space and offices will be used by startups as exhibition booths and business matching rooms. This creates a unqiue experience for visitors to explore an entire building of exhibitions.

IMPACT STAGE @ LOFT29

Participants will immerse themselves in Loft 29, an event space in a warehouse. This is a unique experience for breakout sessions, underground meet-ups, and engaging side events in closeby venues, in collaboration with the local creative community.

INVESTOR STAGE @ UAB BUILDING

Held in U.A.B. Building, there will be multiple breakout sessions based on topics and speakers. Such sessions will include generative AI, cybersecurity, data science & analytics, digital marketing, and deep tech.

BUILDER STAGE @ WISMA YEAP CHOR EE

The Builder Stage will house developer communities with technical workshops and a hackathon.

TRISHAW BUSINESS MATCHING

A uniquely Penang twist on the usual business matching sessions - pair up with potential business partners on a trishaw, as you go on a 10-minute tour of George Town, while getting to know prospective business leads.
